Author Bio

Donna Eastin Garrison served as an educator for 21 years. Her passion resonates with Early Childhood education and Literacy. Donna is a National Board Certified Teacher and a National Board Master Teacher. She also received her Master’s in Teaching from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Associate in Arts from Rogers State College in Claremore, Oklahoma. Donna is certificated in Early Childhood, Reading Specialist, Special Education, and English as a Second Language. As a kindergarten teacher, she knows children learn best through repetition and participation coupled with authentic application for a deeper level of comprehension. These are critical keys in a child’s discovery and cognitive process for mastery. Donna values parents as a child’s first teacher.
