Peter Nealen writes military thrillers the way very few authors can: from the inside. A former Recon Marine, he deployed to Iraq with 1st Reconnaissance Battalion and to Afghanistan with First Force Recon Company. After leaving the Corps, he spent years working as a private military contractor. The tradecraft, the firefights, and the weight of the profession in his fiction ring true because he has lived them; earning an authenticity in the military thriller category that few working novelists can match.
Nealen is also one of the most prolific and consistent authors in the genre, with more than sixty books and a fiercely loyal readership built over more than a decade.
