Overview
Advanced pediatric care blends subspecialty knowledge with acute management of complex illness in children. Volume 2 surveys pediatric subspecialties—cardiology, neonatology, infectious disease, neurology—and principles of pediatric critical care. Detailed chapters provide diagnostic frameworks, evidence-based therapies and perioperative/ICU management principles tailored to children. Case-based scenarios, drug dosing reminders and pediatric-specific monitoring guidelines make it immediately useful at the bedside. The book emphasizes multidisciplinary coordination and transition-of-care issues for chronically ill children. It is written for residents, fellows and clinicians handling complex pediatric patients.
