Using Web Analytics in the Library

In the era of information communication technology, computers were used for the day-to-day housekeeping of the library, saving the time of end-users. The web analytics or web metrics tool is important to provide information on the website and its results. A web analytics tool can provide a better sense of the user activity of visitors to the website. Traffic on site can make or break the performance of online business or organization. The aim of this book is to discuss and examines the web analytics methods used by library professionals to calculate statistics on their library websites. This seeks to explain things in a way that can be interpreted by various applications and web services. The book also signifies big data tools and their impact on libraries.
