Overview
Building on tissue foundations, Volume 2 explores how tissues are organized into organs and systems, highlighting structure–function relationships at the microscopic level. Chapters cover integument, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, and reproductive systems with system-specific microanatomy and secretory/absorptive specializations. Functional histology boxes explain how microscopic architecture underlies physiology and pathology. Clinical correlations and micrographs annotated for diagnostic clues help bridge basic science and clinical pathology. Useful slide atlases and comparison charts make this volume a practical lab companion.
