She graduated with distinction from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, specializing in Life Sciences with an emphasis in Biomedical Sciences, and is currently an award-winning PhD Candidate at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, USA. Prior to commencing her doctoral journey, Nicole underwent rigorous scientific training at esteemed institutions such as Imperial College London and Stanford University. At the forefront of her research lies the innovative use of human pluripotent stem cells and complex organoid models to dissect the nuances of human development and disease pathologies. Nicole’s scholarly pursuits particularly focuses on vascular biology, molecular biology, stem cell biology, and the intersection of regenerative and pediatric medicine.
