Overview
Bio computation and Biomedical Informatics examines various aspects of biomedical informatics including an extensive overviewof various computational languages and their processing. It includes definitions of computing languages, sequence alignmentsand other important terms. Provides the reader with insightsinto the development of bio computation and biomedicalinformatics, so as to understand its application and importancein practical life. A practical computational approach through a case study of a patientis given to understand the scope and calculations are made using biomedical imageprocessing.
                                                            Author Bio
Dr. U. S. Raghavender did his Masters in Physics, with specialization in CondensedMatter Physics, followed by his doctoral thesis in X-ray Crystallographyof Designed molecules. This was followed by post-doctoral stints inIndia and abroad, in both academic institutions and non-academic institutions. He has been working on computational approaches of biomolecules, since the past 12 years. He has authored book chapters, published researchin internationally acclaimed journals. He also serves as a peer reviewer ofresearch articles published in both national (Journal of Biosciences) and international journals (BMCBioinformatics, Nucleic Acids Research etc.). He has a long term goal of addressing computationalaspects of regulatory mechanisms in cell.
