Overview

Reformation always precedes revival. This book seeks a ‘reformation’ within our culture of what Christianity actually is—namely, that Jesus’ message is one of love and not division, the Church an institution that protects and doesn’t harm, the Gospel a truth that is essential to daily life and spirituality, not irrelevant.

By reviving and making relevant the greatest minds from the past 2000 years of the Church, this book brings forward into today the early Church truth that just like you and I are composed of flesh and blood, God is literally composed of love.

At the heart of Searching for God in Christianity is a desire to translate theology into English, into the everyday, illuminating afresh and anew the classic Gospel message as the antidote to the identity crises plaguing modern Western Christianity.
