Young scientist Victor Frankenstein is obsessed with creating life. When he succeeds, however, he is horrified by his creation, which he considers to be a monster. Rejected by its creator and people at large, the lonely creature grows angry and vengeful.

It follows Victor, wreaking havoc on his life, and promises to leave him alone only if Victor makes it a companion. At first, Victor agrees, but when he changes his mind about playing God once more, the creature returns to claim the thing that Victor loves most.
