Dr. Mahesh Singh is Deputy Librarian at National Institute of Technology Patna. He has more then 32+ years of experience in academic institutions libraries. He is Ph.D in Library and Information Science from Jiwaji University, Gwalior (https://jiwaji.edu/) along with PGDCA. He was academic Counselor engaged with IGNOU Study Centre (2743) for taking Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) classes at Lajpat Rai (P.G.) College, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad (U.P.); January, 2006- June, 2013 He is presently academic Counselor with IGNOU Regional Centre Patna (0500). He is the paper shatter and examiner of BLIS and MLIS regular programme at Patna University, Patna. He has attended many workshops and conferences at national and international level. He has published 2 books, book chapters and research articles in National and International Publications. 5 M. Phil in LIS, 2 PGDLAN and 4 MLIS Project awarded under him.
He has received Certificate of Expertise for Academic Library Awards 2022 Knimbus, Excellence in Academic Librarian Award from Golden AIM Awards for excellence & leadership in education, 2021 and Most Dynamic Librarian Award from Golden AIM Awards for excellence & leadership in education, 2020.
He had attended South East Asia E-Books Forum 2016 at Singapore and South Asia E-Books Forum 2018 at Sri Lanka.
He has the professional membership i.e. ILA, UPLA, MANLIBNET and BLA
