She holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Saint Dominic Savio in Caloocan City, specializing in educational leadership and management. A passionate advocate for learning and mentorship, she is deeply committed to empowering her community and has contributed to the field through her published research. Dr. Kalacas is dedicated to fostering creativity and a love for learning among her students. Currently, she serves as the Scholarship and Financial Assistance Chairperson at Laguna State Polytechnic University, Sta. Cruz Campus, where she holds the rank of Associate Professor V. She is also a former Dean of the College of Hospitality Management and Tourism and a former Chairperson for Gender and Development, reflecting her dynamic leadership and impactful contributions to education and community development.
