Author Bio
David Wapner, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1957, is a poet, storyteller, musician, and editor. Celebrated for his work for children and his poetic view of everyday life, his books have earned notable awards and honors, including recognition from ALIJA (IBBY Argentina), the Banco del Libro of Venezuela, and the Fundación Cuatrogatos Prize.

Isol (Marisol Misenta) was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1972. She is an illustrator, picture book author, and singer. Since publishing her first book in 1997, she has created more than twenty children’s titles, many translated worldwide. Her work has earned numerous awards, and in 2013 she received the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, one of the most prestigious honors in children’s literature.
