Overview

Celebrate all the different ways we eat! HOW WE EAT helps families and educators discuss ability, culture, and food at home and in the classroom. See kids using bottles, spoons, chopsticks, G tubes, forks, cups, and their hands to eat. See families nursing, pumping, spoon-feeding, and checking ingredient lists for allergens. Join in as families celebrate birthdays and holidays with traditional foods. Learn about foods like sushi, arepas, artichokes, dosas, and dumplings. New expanded picture book edition includes: information on each feeding tool pictured, and age-appropriate discussion questions for parents and educators to discuss body and food differences.

Part of the 'Everyday Diversity' series - the identity-affirming picture book series created to help families and educators discuss diversity and promote inclusion through everyday topics.
