Author Bio
Philippe Weisbecker was born in 1942. In 1966, he graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. In 1968, he moved to New York, where he started working as an editorial and advertising illustrator. In 2006, he returned to France, where he now lives. Weisbecker has worked extensively in Japan and won many awards worldwide: JAGDA, NYADC, Clio Awards, Tokyo ADC, Cannes Lions, among others. He was also commissioned to design an official poster for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
