Child Abuse and Neglect: Challenges and Opportunities

This book is a comprehensive guide to the issues of child abuse and neglect. Edited by renowned members of the Colorado-based International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), special focus is placed on the diversities and challenges on a national and global scale.

Divided into five sections, the book begins with an introduction to child abuse and neglect, and child protection. The following chapters examine the extent and forms of abuse including physical and sexual abuse, child labour, and trafficking. International perspectives are also discussed.
