Author Bio
Connie Kaldor is considered “one of Canada’s most significant contemporary folk performers” (Billboard Magazine). She has toured around the world, received five Junos and a Western Literature Award, and is a member of the Order of Canada. Her song, “Wood River” is considered by many to be the quintessential Prairie folk ballad. Her publications include A Duck in New York City, A Poodle in Paris and Lullaby Berceuse : A Warm Prairie Night. The duo Fil & Julie (Philippe Arseneau Bussières and Julie Saint-Onge Drouin) have illustrated several albums, including Gratien Gratton prince de la gratouille, Fanfaron, À l’école des petits magiciens and Time for Bed.
