Overview
Treacherous Waters: Zahla's Story - is book seven in the Mysteries & Wonders of the Bible fiction series.
Determined to keep the Hebrews enslaved, the king of Egypt devises his most dreadful edict yet. He commands that the Hebrew midwives are to kill all newborn boys. Zahla cannot help but fear for her dear cousin, Puah, who works as a Hebrew midwife. Especially when Puah refuses to obey Pharoah's appalling order.
Zahla soon realizes she must act herself. She finds help from a most unexpected ally: an Egyptian guard named Merin. Together, they organize an intricate network to save as many children as they can. Zahla knows that one day God will come to their aid and free them from Pharaoh…but she, Merin, and her family will have to survive first.
