Overview

Rocky & Bo Go Camping is a delightful children’s picture book about two dog friends setting off on a camping adventure by the lake.

Rocky is bursting with excitement, eager to splash in the water, and sniff out yummy snacks as fast as he can. Bo, calmer and wiser, stays close by to help Rocky slow down and remember that adventures are more fun when you stay safe and make smart choices.

As the friends are at their campsite, Rocky’s enthusiasm sometimes gets him into a bit of trouble. With Bo’s gentle guidance and help from their park ranger friend, Ranger Nelson, Rocky begins to learn the importance of thinking ahead and putting “safety first” especially in the great outdoors. While at first Ranger Nelson looks a little strange to Rocky because of the large hat the ranger wears while on duty, Rocky soon discovers Ranger Nelson is a trusted friend who’s always there to help.

Through fun activities at the lake, gentle humor, and teamwork, Rocky & Bo Go Camping shows young readers that true friendship means looking out for one another, listening to good advice, and learning along the way. With a loyal friend like Bo by his side, Rocky discovers that every adventure can be safe, fun, and unforgettable.
