Gracie B. Hubbard fell off a swing when she was three years old and landed on her head. "Papa says I ain't been right in the head since. Mama says I'm simple-minded." This is the story of Gracie's life. Her faith sings throughout her narrative as she encounters difficulties and trusts in her Lord. Her life improves as she learns to read and write makes new friends and becomes more independent. Her close walk with Jesus will touch your heart. Sometimes it's the simple things in life including people that yield the most blessings.

Amy Heyman lives in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She loves to garden and go for long walks along the Lake Michigan shoreline. She is a volunteer at her local library. This is her third novel
