Author Bio
Tamra Wight's love of nature and family has always played a big part in her life and her writing. For twenty-eight years, she owned and operated a Maine campground with her husband and two children. Wildlife watching from the camp's trails, kayaking Lower Range Pond, and her day-to-day camp chores inspired the Cooper and Packrat series. Tamra now works as a teaching assistant at a Maine middle school, where her students inspire her daily. Tamra also enjoys wildlife photography, geo-caching, campfires with s'mores, snowshoeing, hiking, and sailing on Casco Bay. You may or may not find her when she hides in the Maine woods camouflaged under her poncho-shaped “cloak of invisibility" while she takes pictures of porcupines, coyotes, deer or fox. Mystery of the Missing Lynx is her fifth Cooper and Packrat book.Carl DiRocco is a graduate of the New England School of Art & Design, and has illustrated Dear Big, Mean, Ugly Monster (a Minnesota Humanities Book Award Finalist) and Our Principal Promised to Kiss a Pig (a Children's Choice Selection).
