Thomas Hall, PhD, is director of the Orange County Government Drug-Free Coalition. In this role, he oversees Orange County Government Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery initiatives and advises Mayor Jerry L. Demings on relevant policy issues. Before his appointment, Hall directed on-campus prevention/wellness programs for 19 years. His professional experience as a clinician, researcher, and adjunct faculty spans 27 years. His specialty areas include marriage and family therapy, substance use disorder treatment, child and adolescent treatment, and psychosocial oncology. David Anderson, PhD, is professor emeritus of education and human development at George Mason University. With professional work spanning 5 decades, his specialty areas include drug and alcohol abuse prevention, health promotion, strategic planning, communication and education, and needs assessment and evaluation. Anderson conducts training, delivers keynote speeches, and leads webinars; he also prepares needs assessments, prepares evaluation and analysis, and assists with strategic planning.
