Author Bio

LAURA LOHMANN has an M.Ed in Art Education, a minor in Art History, and has been an elementary school art teacher for 25 years. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two adventurous children, and one adorable golden doodle pup. She started her blog Painted Paper Art in 2010 to share her love of creating art with children. Laura and her family love spending time in nature, and they especially enjoy exploring America's National Parks. She is always painting with her students and loves creating new and colorful projects. Her work has been featured in Arts and Activities and Family Fun Magazines among others. Mini Masterpieces: Exploring Art History With Hands On Projects For Kids is her first book.
