Overview
Saul of Tarsus bursts onto the pages of our New Testament, a zealous opponent of Jesus Christ and His followers. But in a dramatic twist, we soon find him down in the dust of the Damascus Road, transformed by a blinding encounter with the risen Lord. Saul acquires a new name and a new mission. His former zeal remains, but now it’s inspired by a passion to live for Christ, preach the Gospel, and serve the believers he used to persecute. This book takes you on a thrilling journey through Paul’s life, following his epic travels across the ancient Roman world. In addition, the book draws on his authoritative writing that shaped the doctrine and practice of early Christian communities. Throughout this volume of the Ritchie Character Study Series, you’ll discover practical pointers from the apostle to the Gentiles, compelling lessons from the first century that resonate just as powerfully today.Author Bio
