Author Bio

After three decades working in elementary school libraries and French immersion classrooms, Jennifer Sutoski brings her love of language and learning to every page. A passionate educator and advocate for bilingual literacy, she writes engaging fiction and informative non-fiction that spark curiosity in young readers. Fluent in English and French, she creates stories that connect with children in both languages, to encourage a lifelong love of books and to make reading a joyful adventure. When she’s not writing or crafting, she’s the proud mom of two sons who are soaring and creating their own stories.

JiaJia loves to create illustrations that inspire people to improve their lives and prompt them to be curious explorers of the natural world. She is influenced by childhood memories of her native culture, an adoration of animals, and a fascination with the natural world. She currently lives in the Seattle metropolitan area with her husband and cat, but dreams of moving away from large cities to live in a tropical paradise
