Thomas Rex knows HOW to play hockey, he just can't skate!  That's a big problem.  He sets about learning to skate, thanks to the encouragement of his dino friend Alex.  But then comes a bigger problem: how to stop!  Things come together for Thomas, Alex, and their other dino friends, and they enter the Jurassic Winter Classic hockey tournament.  But what's the point?  The rascally Raptors win it every year!  Why should this year be any different?  But . . . Thomas has a sick set of hands and, maybe, just maybe this year his team has a shot at bringing the Raptors' winning streak to an end.

Harry Caminelli is Barrie, Ontario’s self-proclaimed biggest hockey fan. He’s an avid follower of his hometown Barrie Colts but his heart is really in the kid’s game - as he has two sons playing rep hockey in the OMHA system and has coached youth hockey for years. As a college professor at Georgian College he may have lost a few steps but you’ll still find him on the ice from time to time if there’s a good game of shinny going on.
