Dr.-Ing. Alamirew M. Tola is a distinguished civil engineer with a Ph.D. in Highway and Transportation Engineering from the prestigious University of Rostock, Germany. He is an assistant professor at the Kombolcha Institute of Technology, Wollo University, Ethiopia, where he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students and colleagues. Dr.-Ing. Tola’s expertise spans a wide array of areas within civil engineering, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), traffic safety, advanced highway design, smart transportation, traffic management and optimization, urban transportation, and machine learning in civil engineering. His dedication to the field is evident through his innovative teaching methods and his commitment to groundbreaking research.
