Born and raised in Chongqing, China, Shiyin Pan had a dream of writing a series of children’s picture books with a panda bear main character. After relocating to Australia and giving birth to a baby girl, Shiyin found some free time in between taking care of her household and reading stacks of picture books to her adorable daughter. Her dream of writing a panda bear story came true. Pann the Prepared Panda is her first children’s book and will be the initial title for her Pann Panda series.
