Author Bio
Carolyn Wells was born in Rahway, New Jersey. Ms. Wells’ love of reading led her to work as a librarian for many years in the Rahway Library Association. She later wrote numerous children’s stories including the Patty Fairfield and Marjorie Maynard series as well as many mysteries and detective stories, anthologies, and humorous verse. Her Patty Fairfield stories are some of her most well loved books and are still popular over a century beyond the series inception.
