Author Bio
Megan Bomgaars is a public speaker, artist, entrepreneur and star of A&E's Emmy award-winning docuseries, "Born This Way." Megan loves to share her life experiences with others and travels across the country giving keynote speeches and presentations on a variety of topics. Megan has written about her life experiences and her beliefs about being fully included in her community while overcoming limitations. Working with her teachers at school, she composed a popular video called "Don't Limit Me." Megan truly lives by her motto and she is an inspiration to her wide circle of friends and family. This is Megan's first children's book.
Peter John Olczyk was born in Manchester. He studied art foundation at Manchester Metropolitan University and then illustration at Stockport College, where he met his future wife. As a child he had chronic asthma and drawing and making models was a useful escape as his love of books and illustration developed. Pete now works full time as an illustrator, continuing his studies online. He lives in the Highlands of Scotland with his wife and two young children. He uses his own experiences and memories as a child and those of his kids to put himself in the mind and shoes of a child when he illustrates, as well as being greatly influenced by stories, music, and nature. His work is also influenced by artists like Shaun Tan, David Litchfield, Lucy Fleming, Robert Kondo, and Daisuke Tsutsumi.
