Author Bio
Nigel Cawthorne studied at University College, London, where he gained an Honours degree in Physics. He has written, contributed to and edited more than sixty books, including Fighting Them On The Beaches: D-Day, The Battle of Britain, Vietnam: A War Lost and Won, and The Story of the SS. His work has also appeared in newspapers, magazines and partworks on both sides of the Atlantic - from The Sun to The Financial Times. Nigel also visited Vietnam with the legendary Tim Page, where he researched the material for Nam, Eyewitness Nam, and The Bamboo Cage.
Rupert Matthews is a long-established historical writer with numerous books to his name, including Hitler: Military Commander, The Age of the Gladiators, Usurpers and Kingmakers, a biography of the American artist Frederic Remington, and The 20th Century in Pictures, a photographic review of the century.
Dr David Baker worked with NASA on the Gemini, Apollo and Shuttle programmes between 1965 and 1990. He has written more than 100 books on space flight, aviation and military technology. David is currently a fellow of the British Interplanetary Society and editor of the monthly Spaceflight magazine.
