Author Bio

Em Bruce is a children's writer and editor based in Sydney, Australia. She is the author of over 50 published fiction and non-fiction titles, including puzzle books, activity books, board books, fairy tale retellings and picture books. Her rhyming Indigenous Discovery series won the Primary Teaching Resource award at the Educational Publishing Awards Australia in 2022, and the 'Australian Animals' title from this series was named a CBCA Early Childhood Book of the Year Notable book in 2023.

Helder Oliveira
is a self-taught illustrator from the Amazonian region of Brazil. Helder finds inspiration in myths, history, and nature. All his work is made digitally, yet he keeps a secret sketchbook for ideas.
