Author Bio

Laura Baker is a prolific, versatile, and acclaimed children's author. She has written and edited all sorts of different books for children and teens, from fact books and story books to activity and craft-tivity. She has written about farms, castles, rocks and even talking onions! Laura grew up in Canada but now lives in a lovely coastal town in South Wales with her husband, two sons and big basset hound dog.

Alex Foster is an award-winning illustrator based in Margate, UK, who specialises in map and children's illustration. In 2015 he won the World Illustration Award from the Association of Illustrators. He has worked for many top brands, including Penguin Random House, English Heritage and the Roald Dahl Literary Estate.
