In 2016 she won the Cheltenham Illustration award and has been twice shortlisted for the Communication Arts Illustration Competition.

Claire Philip is an experienced children's editor and writer based in the beautiful Lake District, UK. She loves writing both fact and fiction books for young children - especially magical fairy tales - as well as walking in the hills and yoga.
