Mari Bolte graduated with a major in creative writing and a minor in anthropology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2002. She jumped right into the publishing world, landing an internship and later a full-time job with Capstone Publishing. She has authored dozen of books for newly independent readers on STEAM, famous events, adorable animals, historical and pop culture figures, and more. She lives in Minnesota with her family.
