Jason has been fly fishing since the age of 2 1/2 and is widely recognized for his two books on fly casting (Nature of Fly Casting, and Single-Handed Fly Casting) and line drawings he contributed to other books. His art is widely recognized for its ability to clearly depict fly fishing and fly casting tactics.
Gary Borger is a retired college professor, and an internationally known author, writer, lecturer and fly casting instructor, with over 50 years of teaching casting at a professional level. He was the Midwest director of the Fenwick Fly Fishing Schools for their entire duration and in the past 50 years has taught fly casting to thousands of people. His teaching techniques are widely recognized for their thoroughness and ease of understanding. This book contains these classic fly-casting instructions. He has fished on all the continents except Antarctica and illustrates his casting instructions with anecdotes from these world-wide fishing excursions. He currently lectures on casting at Fly Fishing Shows and at private clubs and fly fishing shops.
