Rorschachiana is the official publication of the International Societyfor the Rorschach and Projective Methods, now with more than3,000 members throughout the world. For over half a century thissociety has played an important role in supporting the use of theRorschach instrument, as well as help develop extensive empiricalresearch on its effectiveness in specific clinical situations.Psychologists worldwide understand the historical importance andreal-world application of Rorschach tests in psychotherapy andpsychoanalytic approaches within therapy, but are less aware of theextending influence Rorschach is capable of, especially with regardsto the effort of strengthening diagnostic accuracy in general, andreshaping diagnostic and assessment criteria. The value ofRorschach tests over alternative methods is illustrated in examplesand helps alleviate and simplify known diagnostic issues in thepsychological space. Rorschachiana is also available as a journal(ISSN 1192-5604).
