Genre-Bent Romantasy: This sci-fi fantasy book combines beloved tropes from both science fiction and fantasy with a steamy, swoon-worthy romance between the two main characters, perfect for readers who love From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Faebound by Saraa El-Arifi, and the Crescent City series by Sarah J. Maas.

Humor-Filled and Action-Packed: Readers will fall in love with Imogen, the snarky main character, as she is thrust unwillingly into a life she never asked for after being kidnapped by an alien prince and transported across the galaxy to start a new life. A Dagger of Lightning balances high-intensity battles with witty banter, making it an engaging and enjoyable read.

Author Bio
Meredith grew up in New Orleans, collecting two degrees from Louisiana State University before running away to Chicago to be an actor. In between plays, she got her black belt and made martial arts and yoga her full-time day job. She fought in the Chicago Golden Gloves, ran the Chicago Marathon, and competed for team USA in the Savate World Championships in Paris. In spite of doing each of these things twice, she couldn’t stay warm and relocated to Nashville. She owns several swords, but lives a non-violent life, saving all swashbuckling for the page, knitting scarves, gardening, visiting coffee shops, and cuddling with her husband and two panther-sized cats. She’s a member of International Thriller Writers and Sisters in Crime. A Dagger of Lightning is her second novel. Her debut, Ghost Tamer, a paranormal suspense, was published in 2023.
