Reproducible Thematic Unit in French with English Directions
The Education Reproducible Thematic Unit in French with English directions is comprised of novice-level activities, emphasizing real-life situations in which students interact in the target language, addressing twenty-first century skills in second language acquisition. They include listening, speaking, reading, writing, puzzles, and authentic scenarios. A teacher’s reference core vocabulary for each unit, and suggested class fun activities are also added. Aligning the material in this ebook to the Common Core Standards through The Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century, one or more of the three modes of communication: Interpersonal, Interpretive or Presentational, is indicated for each activity accompanied by the National Standard/s utilized in the activity.
Tammy has been a teacher of World Languages for 26 years (French, Spanish and German) on Long Island, NY. She graduated from New York University (B.A. and M.A.). Tammy is a member of the honor societies Kappa Delta Pi and Phi Delta Kappa. She has been a member of Long Island Language Teachers for 25 years and is a workshop presenter at their regional conference.
