Author Bio
Becki Smith is the executive producer at WCSH-6 in Portland, Maine. She produces the TV shows “Bill Greene’s Main” and “207” and has a special interest in telling real stories of real people living life after school. When her son, Jake Smith, graduated from Tisch School of the Arts, Becki drew upon her own experience and her friendships with successful professionals in New England to create a collection of advice for him to take with him into the adult world. This very special gift was the inspiration for the book that became STARTING OUT, revised and expanded for a new generation of graduates.
