Hector the Brave
Fi Read Raynald Kudemus
School’s a tough place for a young hedgehog. With his short legs and round belly, the hockey field is the last place you’d expect to find Hector. Offering to stand in for a missing player at his school’s annual game against Snake’s Gully, Hector is pushed to his limit. After that day, things would never be the same.
Hector the Brave is Fi Read’s second published work. Her stories are designed to tickle the imagination of young minds, while challenging matters of social injustice and discrimination. Fi Read lives in New Zealand.
