A number of new topics have been added to this edition including tropical infections, acute coronary syndrome, acute ischemic stroke, spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhage, meningoencephalitis and status epilepticus, infective endocarditis, acute aortic emergencies, and snake and scorpion bites.
