She has also worked in publishing as an editor for over three decades, in both adult and children's fiction and non-fiction and across a variety of genres and subjects. Emily is now a freelance editor, non-fiction writer and copywriter, as well as a novelist, and she lives in South London.

Salini Perera is a freelance picture book illustrator based in Toronto, Canada, who was born in Sri Lanka, raised in Scarborough, and has been making art for as long as she can remember.
