Overview

The fascinating illustrated account of a crucial but less well-known aspect of the Third Reich.

This is the story of the wonder weapons and types of armament that Hitler hoped would win the war: Nazi flying saucers, the V-1 flying bomb, the V-2 rocket, the V-3 heavy gun and much besides.

Features the amazing story of the Nazi attempt to build their own nuclear bomb at the same time as the Manhattan Project, a surprisingly close-run race.

Also highlights Hitler's absurd preoccupation with building bigger and bigger weapons when he should have been concentrating his efforts on tried and tested models. Much new Nazi technology could never be deployed.
