Author Bio
Alberto D. Yazon, PhD, is an accomplished academic and researcher with a remarkable journey in education. He graduated cum laude in Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Mathematics as a DOST Scholar from LSPU San Pablo. His educational journey continued as he earned a Master's degree in Mathematics from the same university in 2010. In 2016, he achieved the pinnacle of academic success, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education from the prestigious Philippine Normal University, Manila. Currently holding the esteemed position of Associate Professor V, Dr. Yazon wears many hats. He serves as the Director for Quality Assurance and leads as the Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 among LSPU Internal Quality Auditors. He is also an Associate Editor at the Presidential Media Affairs Office and holds the role of Flexible Learning Focal Person at LSPU-System. Additionally, he is the Program Coordinator for Graduate Studies and Applied Research at LSPU-Los Banos Campus. Dr. Yazon's influence extends globally as an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines, specializing in the Social Science Division. His expertise led to a nomination as a Technical Committee and Advisory Board Member of EURASIA Research in September 2019. He contributes significantly to academia by reviewing articles for the Universal Journal of Educational Research, an indexed journal of Horizon Research Publishing (HRPUB) in the United States since February 2020. As a prolific author, Dr. Yazon has penned books in Statistics, Learning Guide in Methods of Research, and Assessment in Student Learning, all published by Wiseman's Books Trading, Inc., Philippines. His research impact is profound, evident in his patent, over 300 citations, and 30 publications, with seven indexed in the Scopus Journal and one recognized by CHED. Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Dr. Yazon has received the Exemplary Performance in Research award for 2021 and 2022, celebrating his Commercialized Research Outputs and research accomplishments. He has earned accolades as the Most Distinguished University Researcher and the Most Distinguished Senior Faculty Researcher during the LSPU 70th Founding Anniversary at LSPU Santa Cruz Campus, Santa Cruz, Laguna.
