Author Bio
FREDA FARRELL WALDON (1898-1973) was chief librarian of Hamilton Public Library from 1940 to her retirement in 1963. As the first elected president of the Canadian Library Association, Dr. Waldon was instrumental in petitioning the government to establish a National Library.
