Madeleine Kelly is a former Olympian who competed in the Tokyo Games as a dedicated runner. When she's not out on a run, she's traveling the globe, enjoying time with her husband and their dog, Pickle, or indulging in her love of reality TV. Living in Toronto, Canada, Madeleine is as creative as she is adventurous, always seeking new experiences and meaningful moments with friends.
Charlotte Cleveland grew up in the Constable country of Essex, UK. Though she didn’t particularly excel at school, she always had a love for art and biology. Over the years, she has worked with both children and animals—two sources of inspiration for her quirky, whimsical illustration style in ink and watercolor. A lifelong fan of Quentin Blake, Charlotte also admires the work of Oliver Jeffers and other picture book illustrators, which has led to a growing collection of beautifully illustrated books. When she’s not drawing, Charlotte enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and soaking up the wonders of nature.
