Diary of a Misfit

Diary of a Misfit shares the daily battles of an eighth-grader as she endures trials and tribulations of surviving peer pressure, dealing with physical changes and balancing academics. It takes readers to the realities of a school girl’s life, one who is christened as a social misfit by her peers. From dealing with school bullies, making one’s life miserable, to the whirlwind puppy love encounters with the opposite sex, and all the way into finding the right people who share the same interests and hobbies, life as a teen or preteen is not at all a walk in the park.

Anaecheri Angel Okwuosa is the current Head Girl of Atlantic Hall School, in Lagos, Nigeria for the 2012/2013 session, a school that she is proud to attend. She loves God, family & friends, reading & writing, poetry, singing, and dancing. Angel’ s aspiration is to attend the prestigious Harvard University; become the best lawyer/author ever and to make Nigeria a country to reckon with. Angel was born on 18 December 1996 in London, England; grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and relocated to Lagos Nigeria with her family in 2006. She has written many unpublished poems and short stories.
