Author Bio
D. H. Lawrence (1885-1930) grew up in Nottinghamshire, UK. Many of his novels concern life and relationships within an industrial setting, where he confronts issues relating to emotional health, spontaneity and instinct. He wrote many essays, poems, short stories and novels, among them Sons and Lovers, The Rainbow, Women in Love, St Mawr and The Plumed Serpent.
