Sidnet Pagnet (1860-1908) was a Victorian artist and illustrator, best known for his illustration for Arthur Morrison's Martin Hewitt detective stories and Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series in The Strand magazine.
George Wylie Hutchinson (1852-1942) was a leading British-Canadian illustrator who studied in London at the Royal Academy. He illustrated the works of several high-profile writers, including Arthur Conan Doyle, Rudyard Kipling and Robert Louis Stevenson. Hutchinson was a contributor to and the subject of the novel The Master (1895) by Israel Zangwill.
