Author Bio

Laura Baker is an acclaimed children's author and editor who has written a number of children's books on animals and the environment, including Into the Land of Dinosaurs and Planet Greta! She has worked for many top publishers, including Hodder, Scholastic and Oxford University Press. Laura grew up in Canada but now lives in a lovely coastal town in South Wales with her husband, two sons and big basset hound dog.

Alex Foster is an award-winning illustrator based in Margate, UK, who specialises in map and children's illustration. In 2015 he won the World Illustration Award from the Association of Illustrators. He has worked for many top brands, including Penguin Random House, English Heritage and the Roald Dahl Literary Estate.
